I am obviously logged in because I can post here, but news articles cannot be commented on because I “must be logged in”. I use automatically updated Chrome on Android 10, so it's the most standard and up to date way of browsing on a phone. The problem is obviously the site itself, so this should not even matter.
Common suggestions for sweeping the bug under the rug like clearing the cache will be ignored, because that does not remove the cause of the bug, nor help other people who actually want to comment on news articles.
